The St Stephen's Catholic Church, Saddleworth is part of the Parish of Riverton/Manoora and the Diocese of Adelaide. The first Mass was celebrated for Christmas 1869, with the church building blessed and dedicated on 16/1/1870, by the Vicar-General Rev John Smyth. The establishment/building of the church is associated with the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). The church celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2020.
