The St Joseph's Catholic Church, Orroroo is part of the Booleroo Centre Parish and the Diocese of Port Pirie. The present church builidng was opened on 1/5/1927 by the Right Rev Dr Killian, Bishop of Port Augusta. Although the first record of a Mass being celebrated in Orroroo was in 1883, worshippers had been meeting as early as the 1870s.
