Hughes Baptist Church

The Hughes Baptist Church is affiliated with Baptist Churches of NSW & ACT. The church began with a site for a building being reserved in 1963, followed by an outreach Sunday School, commenced by two ladies, from the Canberra Baptist Church, in 1964. The church was officially formed on 14/11/1965, with twenty eight members. Stage one of the church building was opened on 2/11/1968 and stage two in May 1977.
