The Mosaic Baptist Church, Evatt is affiliated with the Baptist Churches of NSW & ACT. The Belconnen Baptist Church was formed in 1972, by Baptist affiliated families, who had been meeting, for a number of years, in private homes. Meetings were then held in the Page Primary School. The first church building was completed in the mid 1970s, but to meet the needs of the growing church ministries, extensions were completed in 1990. A church plant was undertaken in Gungahlin, meetings being held in a local school. In 2015 a building In Mitchell was purchased, as a meeting place for this congregation. The name Mosaic was adopted about this time to reflect the different locations serviced by the church. On 21/11/2018, the North Belconnen Baptist Church and Mosaic agreed to merge. The first service of the new combined congregation of Mosiac Baptist Church was held on 19/2/2019. The church celebrated is fiftieth anniversary in 2022.
