The King's Baptist Church, Wynn Vale is a member of The Baptist Churches of South Australia & Northern Territory. The original church began in the 1880s. The former Golden Grove Baptist Church was the former Tea Tree Gully Baptist Church, which relocated from Tea Tree Gully to Wynn Vale. Tea Tree began a Christian School situated on the church premises. The school eventually grew too large and relocated to Wynn Vale. As there was always a connection between the church and school, in October 2005 the church relocated to a site adjacent to the school. The building shown in the photographs has now been sold to the school and dramatically expanded. The church still meets there and is now known as King's Baptist Church. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 26/2/2024.
