The St Matthias' Anglican Church, Currawang is part of the Mulwaree Anglican Mission District and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The church building was erected on land donated by Mr W Cooper in 1872, and opened on 14/4/1875. The church celebtrated its 140th anniversary in 2015. A cemetery adjoins the church.
