The St John's Anglican Church, Bungaree is part of the Parish of West Moorabool and the Diocese of Ballarat. The church building was dedicated on 25/4/1869 by the Venerable Archdeacon Stretch of Geelong. An extension of the nave and the erection of a vestry were carried out about 1911. An early Anglican service is recorded as being held in the home of Mr Benham on 6/1/1867. No other details are known. More historical information/photgraphs of the church/congregation are invited.
