The former St Matthew's Anglican Church, Grong Grong is now closed, and the property listed for sale. Early Anglican services in the district were held in private homes, until the church building was opened in December 1911, by the Right Rev Dr Anderson, Bishop of Riverina. The church celebrated the centenary of the laying of the foundation stone in September 2011. In 2003 the congregation of the St Paul's Uniting Church combined with St Matthew's, when their church closed. The St Matthew's church building was deconsecrated at a service held in August 2020. It was part of the Parish of Coolamon and the Diocese of Riverina. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 25/6/2021 & 31/8/2021
