The St Stephen's Anglican Church, Bylong is part of the Parish of Cudegnong Valley and the Diocese of Bathurst, although it is not clear if worship services are still conducted here. The church building was opened in October 1876, and consecrated on 23/3/1881. Before the consecration, 150 pounds of the debt was paid by Mr John Lee. The building is erected on land donated by the Tindale Family.  A  cemetery adjoins the church, and was consecrated on 23/3/1881.
