The St Michael's Anglican Church, Surry Hills began in the 1830s, with early services held in the Albion Brewery, and many other locations until the church building was erected in 1854.
The Vine Church, started in 2011 by a group of friends, who began "with the conviction that while inner city people are not interested in religion, Jesus Christ is still relevant."
In 2015 the Vine Church and St Michael's merged to form the St Michael's + Vine Church, [Sourced from: https://vinechurch.com.au/about/our-story/]. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 8/2/2021.
