Comments

The first stage of the St Peter's Anglican Church, Barcaldine was opened and dedicated on 28/10/1899. Earlier Anglican services had been held in the Court House. A bequest had been sent from England to assist cover the cost of building a church, and this began the work of a building committee. The first stage was completed for the opening and the second stage in 1913. Further additions have been made since, including a porch erected in 1961.
