The St Bartholomew's Anglican Church, East Perth, was consecrated on 16/02/1871 by Matthew Hale, First Bishop of Perth. The site also contains a pioneer cemetery. The church, was originally established as a burial chapel soon after the 1829 Perth settlement, and became the parish church in 1888.
