The St Mark's Anglican Church, Pontville was completed and dedicated on 21/2/1841 by Archdeacon William Hutchins. However, due to difficulties with the title deed it was not consecrated until 12/3/1884, along with the graveyard, by the Bishop of Tasmania, Rt Revd Dr Sandford - Rector, Revd J K Wilmer. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 29/9/2018.
