The former St Chad's Anglican Church, Quipolly held its last regular service in 1969. Subsequently, special services have been held together with funeral services associated with the adjoining cemetery. The church building was formally opened on 5/9/1886 by Archdeacon Ross.  Earlier services had been conducted in private homes, with the first record of a service being held on 31/12/1882. The property was acquired by the local Shire in 2004. The church had been part of the Parish of Quirindi in the Diocese of Armidale.
