The Stanwell Anglican Church, Stanwell Park is part of the Parish of Helensburgh and Stanwell (and functions in conjunction with the Helensburgh Anglican Church) and is part of the Diocese of Sydney. The church began as a church plant of the Helensburgh church, with the first service in the original church building being held on 14/2/1914. Prior to the erection of the church building, services were held in private homes. A new church building was erected in the 1980s at the rear of the church site, with the original church building becoming the hall. A Sunday School was also established in 19141.
