All Saints' Anglican Church

The All Saints' Anglican Church, Austinmer is in the Parish of Austinmer (and functions jointly with St David's, Thirroul) and is part of the Diocese of Sydney. The present church building was the former RSL Club which was acquired and refurbished in 1994, as the congregation had outgrew its former building, although it had been extended a number of times. The first church building was a small weatherboard structure opened in 1904 by the Rev D'Arcy-Irivne, and erected on land donated by Colliery manager J C Jones and John S Kirton. Prior to the opening of the first church building, early services in the district were conducted in private homes^1. The church celebrated its centenary in 2004.
