The former St Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Stuart Town now appears to have closed [until recently, 2026?, it appears monthly services were conducted at this location. It had been part of the Parish of Wellington and the Diocese of Bathurst. The present church building was opened in August 1913 by Bishop Long, and dedicated in the name of St Michael and All Angels. it was renovated and extended in 1962. Earlier services were conducted in the local Court House, until a weatherboard structure was built in the mid 1870s, at another site, and known as St James' Church of England. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 7/7/2026.
