The former St Egwin's Anglican Church, Tenambit closed about 2014, and the building has now been removed from the site. The church had been part of the Parish of East Maitland and the Diocese of Newcastle. The church is believed to have begun about 1890, with the church building being dedicated on 8/12/1895.
