St. Mark’s Anglican Church

The St Mark's Anglican Church, Hoskinstown is part of the Parish of Bungendore and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The St Mark's church building was designed by the Rev Alberto Dias Soares, who also conducted the first service in the building. The building was designed primarlly as a school, but also available as a  place for worship. It was built in 1871. The building was renovated in 1913, with a sanctuary, vestry and porch being added in 1926. In 1936, Presbyterian services also began to be held in the building.
