The former Castlemaine Presbyterian Church in Lyttleton Street, has closed and the property was sold in 2021. The church/congregation now meets in the Olivet Christian College main hall (see separate entry - 3451). The church building is now owned/used by the St Joseph and St Anasimone Coptic Orthodox Church (see separate entry - 3450). The church building, prior to its use/acquisition in 1984, by the Presbyterian Church had been owned by the Castlemaine Congregational/Uniting Church. It was built in 1861/62.
