An historic plaque records: This distinctive Gothic style bluestone church, designed by architects, Leonard Terry and Charles Webb was built in 1867. The chancel and east vestry were added around 1880, the south end porch in 1890 and the Jubilee Memorial Chapel, on the west side, in 1918.
