The hall next to the church has a plaque which records: Jessie Cutler - Memorial Hall.

A bell next to the church has a plaque on the structure which records: To The Glory of God - In Memory of - Leonard A Rogers - Balmoral - 1896 - 1963 - Erected by his Family.

Comments

The former St Andrew's Uniting Church, Balmoral has closed, and the property was sold in July 2014. The church had been part of the Presbytery of Western Victoria and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. The church building was erected/opened in March 1865 for the Presbyterian church, and was the first church building erected in Balmoral. The substantial nature of the building reflected the strength of Presbyterianism in the district, and the substance of its main supporters, consisting mainly of significant landholders. The church building was also used by the Anglicans until their building was erected in 18941. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
