The former Maldon Uniting Church is now privately owned.
A small brick building beside the former church building was erected in 1855, and was used as the Church in the early days of the Wesleyan Methodist congregation in Maldon. The Wesleyan Methodist congregation had held its first services at the site in 1853, and accordingly celebrated their 160 year anniversay in 2013.
The church held its last service on 8/12/2013 and was sold on 3 May 2014, by the Uniting Church, to help pay debts related to Acacia College, Melbourne (weeklytimesnow.com.au 22/04/2014). No other details are known about the former church. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregatyion are invited. Photographs uploaded 26/06/2016.
