St Olave's Anglican Church - Former

The former St Olave's Anglican Church, Stony Rise property is now closed. The final service was held on 17/12/2017 conducted by the Rev John Tongue. The church building was originally erected about 1876/77 on the other side of the river, being relocated to its present site in 1901. Services were discontinued in the church in 1940, due to falling attendances, and the windows boarded up. In 1960 it was restored by St John's Devonport, and re-opened in 1961.
