(Sydney Morning Herald - 26 August 1879) "ORANGE. MONDAY. The opening services of the new Church of England commenced yesterday. Although the weather was very unpropitious, the church, which is estimated to hold 850 persons, was crowded at every service."

The first Anglican church was opened about 1858. The present Holy Trinity Anglican Church building was opened on 25/8/1879 and consecrated on 18/10/1909. It was completed in 1889, with the  tower completed in 1924 as a War Memorial. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 21/9/2017.
