The Queanbeyan Baptist Church is affiliated with the Baptist Churches of NSW & ACT. The church had its origins at a meeting in a home in 1966, where a decision was taken to establish a Baptist Fellowship, a Sunday School and a Boys Brigade. This ministry has continued to grow. The first building was opened on 28/7/1968 by the Rev A H Patino, from the Goulburn Baptist Church. It has subsequently been expanded and renovated to  meet the changing needs of the congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
