The current St Stephen's Anglican Church, Dorrigo was consecrated on 5/9/1970. Prior to 1908 services were held in private homes. On 9/9/1909 the first St Stephen the Martyr Church was consecrated. Since 1909 the church has also played a role in maintaining a Union Church (Methodist, Presbyterian and Anglican) at Deervale.
