The Nana Glen Community Uniting Church is part of the Mid North Coast Presbytery of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The church functions in conjunction with the Coffs Harbour Uniting Church. Early Wesleyan Methodist church services had been held in the district, including Nana Glen, from the late 1800s. The Wesleyan Methodist Church at Union in 1902 became part of the Methodist Church. The present church building was erected on land donated by a Mr Sherwood and opened on 26/8/1906 by the Rev J Ward Harrison (a former Wesleyan Methodist Church Minister), for the Methodist Church, which became part of the Uniting Church in 1977.  A Presbyterian congregation also used the church building for regular services from the 1940s to 1968. For a brief period the present church was closed in 1988, following a decision of the Parish Council,  but was re-opened on 5/2/1989 after further representations from the congregation. The word 'Community' was added to the church's name on 15/3/1998. A Sunday School building was erected in 1919 as a memorial to the men, from the local district, who enlisted in the Great War. This is a lay led congregation and is a member of the Assembly of Confessing Congregations within the Uniting Church. The church celebrated its centenary in 2006.
