Comments
The former Barkly Street Uniting Church, Ballarat East closed about 2015, and the property was then sold. The church had been part of the Presbytery of Western Victoria and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria and Tasmania. The present church building was erected in 1859 for the Methodist Church, which became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. It is noted that Norman Lindsay's parents were married in this church in 1869, by the brides father the Rev Thomas Williams.
