St Joseph's Catholic Church

The St Joseph's Catholic Church, Junee is part of the Parish of Junee and the Diocese of Wagga Wagga. The church building was opened and blessed by the Rt Rev J W Dwyer, Bishop of Wagga Wagga, on 23/3/1930. The new building replaced an earlier stucture at the same site, built in 1884, which had become too small. The High Altar was consecrated on 21/6/1930 by the Bishop of Wagga Wagga, as it was not ready when the church building was opened. No other details are known.
