The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church building was erected about 1870. A convent was subsequently built next door in 1874. The church building was designed by Edward Gell. It has a slim stone bellcote and spire and retains its original cooling system which consists of wall cavities through which air passes into outlets in the window sills.

No other details are known about the church. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs upoaded 6/6/2018.
