New Life Church. "The church was started in their home [Pastors] on Sunday 11th April [1999] with 9 people, of whom 5 were their family. Three months later, on Sunday 11th July, the first public service was held at the Pioneer High School. As the church continued to grow we moved into our first permanent rental address at Peel St, Mackay and held our first service there on 10th February 2002. Our current building was purchased in November 2007. We took over the building in November 2008 when the then current lease expired and after 9 months of renovations the first service was held in our Life Centre main auditorium on Sunday 13th September 2009. On 10th August 2008 our Sarina campus held its first service at the Sarina High School and later in our own building on the 9th of November of the same year."
