The St Andrew's Anglican Church was built during 1911/12 and dedicated by Archbishop St. Clair Donaldson on 12/5/1912. Before this church building was erected, services were held in the local Union Church. The church celebrated its centenary on 12/5/2012. Service was conducted by Rob Nolan, Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of Brisbane and Bishop of Western Region. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 26/4/2017.

Notes on photographs:

  1. As the church was in 2016, after 105 years of service.
  2. The church as it was when it was built in 1912, ie no buttresses.https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File%3ASt._Andrew's_Anglican_Church%2C_Toogoolawah%2C_without_buttresses%2C_1912.JPG
  3. The church as it was in August 1913 after buttresses were added. These were added after the building structure had been placed under severe strain and put out of plum by a windstorm in February 1913. The buttresses then became a feature of the building structure.https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File%3ANew_buttresses_for_St._Andrew's_Anglican_Church%2C_Toogoolawah_1913.jpg
