The former St John's Anglican Church, Wiangaree was deconsecrated on Wednesday, 21/10/2009, and the property has now been sold (2009?). The church had been part of the Diocese of Grafton. The church began about 1917, with the church building being erected in the 1930s. A visit by the Bishop of Grafton in late 1934, was the occasion for the dedication of gifts to the church, including an organ and a font [Sourced from: https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/94497101].
