The former St Oswalds's Anglican Church, Boomahnoomoonah has closed and the church building was deconsecrated on 15/4/2012 by Bishop John. The church building had been originally dedicated on 11/5/1890 and consecrated on 23/2/1913. The church had been part of the Parish of Yarrawonga and the Diocese of Wangaratta. The derelict church building has now been removed and the site now contains a cross and the fourteen stations of the cross. The stations record: Jesus is condemned; Jesus takes his cross; Jesus falls for the first time; Jesus meets his mother; Simon helps Jesus; Veronica helps Jesus; Jesus falls for the second time; Jesus consoles the women; Jesus falls for the third time; Jeus is stripped; Jesus is crucified; Jesus dies; Jesus is taken from the cross; Jesus is buried.

More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 24/5/2018.
