The Mosman Park Uniting Church has been renamed a few time since its inception. Originally known as the Cottesloe Beach Methodist Church, later the Buckland Hill Methodist Church then Mosman Park Methodist Church in line with the civic district name changes. Then the Mosman Park Uniting Church when it was formed in 1977. The original congregation met in a tent in 1897 on the site of the present church. It was shortly after this that the decision was taken to build a wooden church. The brick 'new church' was built in 1929/30. The original wooden church building currently servies an Indonesian language congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 22/6/2015.

Historical information taken from a booklet prepared for the Jubilee Celebrations 1897-1947 for the Mosman Park Methodist Chutch.
