The Stawell Church of Christ  acquired the main building about 1908. It was originally built about 1872 as the Lyceum Hall. It was purchased by the Primitive Methodist's in 1876 and served as their place of worship until the Union of the Methodist's in 1902. Subsequent to purchase by the Stawell Church of Christ, entrance additions and alterations have been carried out.  No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
