The All Saints' Anglican Church, Poowong is part of the Parish of Korumburra & Poowong and the Diocese of Gippsland. The current All Saints' Church building replaced an earlier wooden structure on the same site. This wooden structure was opened on 11/7/1884 by the Archbishop of Melbourne, Dr James Moorhouse.  Early Anglican services were held in selectors' homes until  15/12/1878, when they began to be held in the new  Wesleyan Church (now Pioneer Chapel) which had been built in Poowong. This did not prove to be suitable and plans for their own church to be erected came to fruition on 11/7/1884. In the meantime services were held in various locations. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 8/3/2020.
