Comments

The former St Paul's Lutheran Church, Crossville closed in February 1960, and the property was sold. St Paul's, Crossville was the first Lutheran church erected on the Eyre Peninsula. The church building was opened on 4/12/1927 to serve the local community. By the 1960s, Cleve was the main local centre, and with ease of transport it had also became an important  worship centre in the district, leading to the closure and sale of the Crossville church. The Crossville congregation therefore joined with St Paul's, Cleve1. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 17/2/2015 & 10/3/2024.
