Originally there were two buildings on this site: the former Koumala Presbyterian Church building, erected in 1924, and a hall built in 1952. The church building was removed in 1997. Church services were held in the hall for a short time after the church building was moved from the site. 
The hall, built in 1952 by Mr Arthur Lilliendal, is still located on the site and is now privately owned. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs on former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 3/12/2018.
