Comments

This former St John's Church of England, erected at 691 Cannon Creek Road, was opened on 18/11/1911 by the Ven. Henry Le Fanu, Archdeacon of Toowoomba, and closed in 1952. The building was erected on land donated by John Saville who also donated the timber. Construction was helped by other volunteers, including the minister. The church building was eventually moved from its location in Cannon Creek to the Templin Historic Village in June 19761. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 25/4/2017.
