The original church was built about 1873 as a Primitive Methodist Church. It still exists on the site.

In 1902 the Primitive Methodist Church joined with the Wesleyan Methodists and United Methodists to form the Methodist Church of Australasia. In 1977 the Methodist Church, Congregational and Presbyterian Churches united to form the Uniting Church in Australia.

A small cemetery was established around the original church with headstones dating from 1875 to 1997.

The current worship centre was built about 1955.

More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 29/9/2017.
