The St Monica's Catholic Church, Oakey is part of the Parish of Oakey and the Diocese of Toowoomba. The first church building was erected by Fr Fouhy in 1909 near the site of the present football grounds. The church was later relocated to its current site. In 1958 the present War Memorial Church was built. It celebated its 50 year anniversay in 2008. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
