The Union Church represented the coming together of the Middle Ridge Methodist Church and the Toowoomba Congregational Church, in 1976, prior to the formation of the Uniting Church in June 1977, and the subsequent joining of other churches.

Not only did the church congregations come together but the Methodist and Congregational buildings were also joined. The Congregational Church building being relocated to the present Middle Ridge Uniting Church site in 1976.

More historical information/photographs of the church(es)/congregation(s) are invited. Photographs uploaded 25/2/2017.
