The former All Saints' Anglican Church, Lawrence is now closed, holding its final service on 24/4/2022. Early Anglican services began in Lawrence in the 1860s, with a church building opened on 8/12/1868. It was destroyed in a cyclone six weeks later, but repaired within nine months. The present church building was built/opened in 1903. In 1979 the building was damaged in another cyclone, being repaired and rededicated on 12/11/1980. Over the years the church has been part of a number of parishes, finishing its life as part of the Cathedral Parish of the Diocese of Grafton. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 3/4/2020.
