(Dubbo Dispatch -4 September 1901)   "TRANGIE. On Wednesday the Rt. Rev. Jas. Cameron M.A., D.D., Moderator of the New South Wales Presbyterian General Assembly, visited Trangie for the purpose of laying the foundation stone of a new church about to be created in the town."

The St Andrew's Uniting Church, Trangie.

(The Dubbo Liberal - 15 February 1902)   "THE NEW PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH AT TRANGIE. THE dedication of the new church erected by the Presbyterians at Trangie took place on Wednesday. In the afternoon an opening service was held, conducted by the Moderator-elect of the Presbyterian Assembly, the Rev. John. Walker, M.A.. assisted by the Rev. J.T. Main, M. A., and the Rev, Mr. M. Cook (Warren). The Rev. Mr. Finch (Wesleyan Church) was also present. In the evening an organ recital and concert was held."
