The present Leslie Memorial Presbyterian Church, Blackheath was opened in 1926.The first Presbyterian services in Balckheath were held about 1897. The first church building was a wooden structure erected about 1901. It is now the church hall. The erection of the current church building was funded by Mr James Smart Leslie, a retired local farmer, who donated 3,000 pounds. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 26/10/2019 & 15/3/2020.
