A notice inside the building records: Lutheran Church Hall - The Lutheran "Good Shepherd" was dedicated in 1946 and was originally located at Upper King Street,(near Caboolture Cemetary).

It was constructed by Mr H Koppen and voluntary labour. Much of the building material was obtained from the old home of Mr H T (Bert) Goeldner of Bells Lane.

With the amalgamation of the two Lutheran Congregations of Caboolture in 1966, the "Good Shepherd" Church was relocated to the site of St Paul's Lutheran Church, in Hasking Street. There it was used as a hall for various church activities and was regularly used by community group to conduct meetings.

In 1985, with the relocation of the Lutheran Church to Smiths Road, the building was donated to the Caboolture Historical Society.
