Comments
The Ashfield Baptist Church is a member of the Baptist Churches of NSW & ACT (The Baptist Union of New South Wales). The current Ashfield Baptist Church building, and the first church building on this site, was opened on 28/8/1937. The first Ashfield Baptist Church building was opened in 1886 and the second in 1906, all at different sites. The first Baptist service in Ashfield was held on 26/4/1884, in the Ashfield School of Arts, by the Rev Frederick Hibberd.
