Comments

The original building was erected about 1908 for the Methodist Church. It was later also used by the Congregational congregation. The building was enlarged in 1922. The foundation stone for the additions was laid by the Rev Eldred Dyer on 3/6/1922, President of the Methodist Conference. Following the formation of the Uniting Church in Australia, the building became surplus and was sold to the Baptist Church. The building was relocated to make way for road works in 2009.  It continues to be used by the Lawson Baptist Church. More historical information/photographs of the church(es)/congregation(s) are invited. Photographs uploaded 1/11/2019.
